Alexa MGMT was formed to build hospitality experiences that cater to seekers of the new, the local, and the authentic when they travel. As owners, operators, and guests we’ve always gotten the most out of the unexpected connections you make while traveling.

For us, designing the experience, getting to know the traveler, and sharing insights into the local landscape is the reward for being in this industry.

We seek to support local artists and makers, to build and operate sustainably, and earn our coworkers’ and customers’ appreciation and loyalty everyday.

Bree

Chief Executive Officer

Raised in hospitality on the banks of the Frio River, Bree began creating guest experiences at just eight years old. She later earned a degree in civil and environmental engineering, bringing a data-driven mindset to every project. Her consulting background and natural leadership have shaped a strong foundation in construction and hotel management. Bree is known for seamlessly blending analytical precision with genuine, guest-centered service. This balance has been key to building and leading Alexa Management.

Sarah

Office Manager

As the longest-tenured team member at Alexa Management, Sarah has been instrumental in the company’s growth through her versatility across roles including property management, accounting, HR, and more. Her natural warmth and attention to detail make her a perfect fit for hospitality—she’s known for remembering personal touches like birthdays and favorite desserts. Originally from Lake Jackson, Sarah moved to Austin to attend UT and remains a loyal Astros fan.

Cole

Chief Operating Officer

A hotelier at heart, Cole thrives on the smiles and gratitude of guests, colleagues, and owners. Since starting at a front desk in 2008, he’s gained wide-ranging experience in full-service, large box hotels—sometimes even arriving on longhorns! His passion for connection led him to a successful role in sales and marketing, most recently as Major Market Sales Manager for Hyatt Lost Pines. Another stroke of good fortune put Cole and Bree together at a table swapping ludicrous hotel stories, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Heaven

Sales & Events Manager

Growing up in Bastrop, now an Austin suburb, Heaven’s first job was working as a Recreation Attendant at a four-star resort. What began as simply a job surprised her by turning into a career. People and relationships are Heaven’s passion. Her positivity and creativity along with being detail-oriented, timely, and service-oriented is a rare combination that is evident in her rapid career growth. Heaven has worked for renowned hotels including The Driskill, Miraval and Hyatt Lost Pines. Our team at Alexa Management and our clients love working with her on whatever event that is coming to life at one of our properties.

Kristin

Brand Manager

Originally from Southern Maryland and later a proud Cheesehead, Kristin began building her customer service and sales skills in high school in Green Bay. She’s always thrived on emotional connection and has a natural curiosity for how things work within systems and processes. Kristin earned her degree in Graphic Communications from UW-Oshkosh before making a bold move to Austin—sight unseen. She quickly became Marketing Manager for the beloved Mandola’s Italian, combining creative talent with hands-on operational experience. Now at Alexa, she brings that same passion and expertise to telling our story.

Diana

Director of Operations Central Texas

El Paso native Diana brings decades of hospitality experience, having led operations, growth initiatives, and task force projects across the industry. She became the founding General Manager of The Ruby Hotel & Bar in Round Rock, opening the city’s only boutique hotel just a year before the 2020 pandemic. Under her steady leadership, The Ruby has become a cornerstone of the local community. Diana now oversees all Central Texas operations for Alexa, including the historic Stagecoach Inn in Salado, continuing to expand her impact across the region.

Savannah

People Operations Manager

Trading the Hamptons for the Hill Country, Savannah is passionate about people and hospitality. She holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Marist College, giving her a strong foundation in people management. Her passion was sparked after opening and staffing a hotel and restaurant post-graduation. Inspired by hospitality leaders like Will Guidara and Danny Meyer, Savannah believes true hospitality is about creating genuine connections. For her, it’s not just about service—it’s about emotional impact and lasting memories.

Rachel

Director of Operations West Texas

Originally from Minnesota, Rachel spent time in El Paso before heading to Far West Texas to take on her current role. She built a strong reputation in sales and events, leading to her first General Manager position in 2021. Her passion for crafting meaningful guest experiences now extends across the operations of three historic hotels. Rachel thrives on seeing every detail through—from planning to execution. In a full-circle moment, the Holland Hotel marks her second time managing a Henry Trost property. We’re thrilled to see how her experience and dedication will continue to shape our West Texas portfolio.

Laree

Operations Consultant

One of the first things Laree will tell you is that it’s pronounced like a “fancy Larry.” Before officially joining Alexa Management, she collaborated with the team as an artist at PrintPRESS and previously worked in Legal Compliance Operations at Facebook, bringing a strong background in startups and law. After a pandemic-era career shift, she spent four years as a full-time artist, combining creativity with community connection. Her operational experience and deep local ties support Alexa’s mission to engage with and uplift the communities our hotels call home.

Belen

Marketing Coordinator

Though born in the Midwest, Belen was raised in Austin and proudly embraces her identity as a Texan. She earned a Communication degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Since then, she has built a career as a Social Media Manager, helping Austin-based companies grow their online presence and connect meaningfully with audiences. Belen is passionate about creativity, connection, and finding beauty in the everyday. In her free time, she enjoys exploring coffee shops, walking her dog, and hunting for thrifted treasures.

Eric

Finance Manager

Born and raised in Austin, Eric returned in 2023 after 13 years away pursuing education and building a career in hospitality. With experience spanning from front-of-house service to operations and finance, he thrives at the intersection of strategy and creativity—aiming to help shape the future of hospitality through thoughtful leadership and innovation. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, design, and lifelong learning.
